Coca-Cola - RED Campaign


In 2010, Coca-Cola appointed Tangerine as its retail audit partner to provide the ground team for its RED program. RED stands for Right Execution Daily, which is a process that helps with the critical task of monitoring the mix of products on store shelves and coolers. Nothing is more critical to managing supply and building sales than staying on top of what is happening in each store.

For over 10 years, Tangerine’s duties include monitoring and reporting on stock-keeping units availability and visibility, as well as brand activation, and the condition of coolers. The project started with a team of nine auditors, working in the cities of Maputo and Matola and has since expanded to eighteen, that cover all three regions of the country, auditing over +8000 stores a month assisting management to maximise their distribution.

The program aligned Coca-Cola Mozambique with global standards, allowing managers to see how well ‘the Picture of Success’ is being executed every day.
